I am determined to kiss the corporate america, corporate world goodbye by age 30. Why 30? Because I am hoping I would be married for two years by that age with a baby. I know I am far from ready to enter that chapter in life but I am ready to move forward from the current stage. The idea of taking interior design over MBA is sounding more appealing to me as time goes by, as my working life becomes increasingly dull and stressful at the same time. I know nothing is forever and things change on a daily basis here, here at work that is. Work has taken up so much of my time that it dictates my mood and my outlook on life, a bit too much I think.
It would be so nice, to have my own studio in the future. I can see myself working with my sister, taking on a project or two at a time, and still have time to do the things that matter-- even if it's just walking down the street with my kid, taking her to museums or watching ballet at theaters, reading to her in the middle of the afternoon on the bed in the cool air conditioned room, anything and everything beats working in an office from 9-5 for minimum salary for someone who does not care for my well-being while he accumulates his wealth and sits on his ass. For now this is acceptable-- and for now I will suck it up and climb that corporate ladder slowly... until I have enough saved up to do what I want, and be my own boss. But by age 30-- either I am going to be a single, successful, well respected woman or I will be a happily married, beautiful mom/wife. Anything falls short of that will not and cannot be accepted...
Again I think I need to sleep, thinking too much and too far do me no good... O(o';'o)O~
