Maybe it is bad luck. Maybe dad should have talked to his fortune teller friend sooner rather than later... maybe I could have avoided all these if I had just remained calm and patient.

Last tuesday Sr. Director, Mr. Extreme A personality went psycho on me over his own mistake, or his own misunderstanding/carelessness, that he wrongly reported a false perceived "schedule slip" to our VP + President here. Then they wrongly accused Taiwan (indirectly me) of inadaquet support, program management. All the heat went away the same day after Mr. Extreme realized there was no issue to begin with. Everything was in place, etc etc, the only mistake made was that he did not think through things before he reacted. He and only he himself had mis-read the information. The result-- everyone got affected, lots of people were pissed, lots of explanation was needed. An apology (or lots) did not arrive until Thursday after the fact, when all the damage was done.

Monday, today, yet another event took place. I am still not too sure how much I deserved it, but since this time it was personal rather than work related, I felt better that I at least had the chance to be honest and talked to the person directly. The end result is good-- at least I got to defend myself. Compare to last week, this is an improvement.

And just now, and I am hoping this is, the last accusation that I would have to take this month... or make it this year. It is just bizzare how so many incidents that are similar in fashion have happened to me in the past few days. All were accusations of some sort, all involved emotional/angry people, all involved massive sarcasm, and all are not appreciated by me. Why should anyone have to take any nonesense? It's uncalled for (well obviously no one invites BS and drama into his/her life), it's tiring, it's draining... it is damaging to the person's mind, body and soul. I feel like I am a damanged good after these drama. And possibly even my work records! I was told today by my boss that if I "chat" so much on line he would have to write me up, or simply tell IS to block my internet usage next time. I told him he was absolutely right and that yes no one should be paid $ XXXX.XX dollars per month to chat on line--- however I did want to correct him that the $XXXX.XX he used was inaccurate. I wanted to say "yes boss, however I wouldn't have chatted on line if I was getting paid that much". I guess a joke then would have been very inappropriate... So I guess getting into an argument over AIM is not too bright on my part.

Back to the fortune teller thing. Well so I told my parents that I have an interview next week (which is this wednesday) with my ex-boss's husband. She wanted me to give it a try and find out if I would like it, so I am. But I guess the verdict from the fortune teller is this --- it isn't a good idea for me to change my job now, I should stay here and I should be patient. "TAKE IT SLOW, the key for you now for EVERYTHING, including DRIVING is to be slow". Don't rush, don't get impatient, don't jump the gun, just be s l o w... HA! Why didn't anyone tell me this EARLIER???? I wouldn't have gotten my two tickets (yes one of them was a speeding ticket), I wouldn't have rushed and gotten nervous about my work (yes it is taking a real long time; 7 months and I still haven't closed the account), and I wouldn't have typed like a girl on speed today on AIM and wouldn't have gotten lectured because of it after work today. Only if I could have just waited, just wait to argue, wait to go on KNotts Berry Farm rides, wait and wait and wait for new businesses.... "things cannot be rushed". Ah so... so des ne.....
Oh and another thing, supposedly my current "bf" isn't right for me, yet again. This is probably the 5th time I've gotten that message from fortune tellers.... aiya tell me something new.
