Finally, I can say I've been to the San Diego zoo. I think all zoos look alike but I wonder if all the orangutans behave in the same (inappropriate) way... I am very thankful that I didn't witness the following incident myself but seriously, how fucked up is that! So apparently the male orangutan finds pleasure from hanging off the branch while a female performs oral sex on him unwillingly-- it was said that the male had repeatedly force the female to get back into position by pushing her head down with his legs, locking her in. I mean what kind of a fucked up shit is that! Then he managed to force her to use her hand instead while he lays on the ground eating at the same time... I mean... ???? I ... I am speechless! Can you imagine the kids seeing that... "daddy what are those monkeys doing?"... or "mommy are they playing?" .... I don't know but it's just such a strange idea that they would do such a thing... or is it really natural and normal? I mean the psychology behind it... or is it just pure reaction? Either way I am so glad I didn't see anything that bizzare-- I did see an elephant dancing (swinging side to side), some beautiful snakes, but that's about it. Oh wait also this three legged monkey. It was moving as freely as other monkeys, I didn't even notice that it had anything missing until he sort of stood still for a bit. Amazing though, it was jumping around moving around as if he has all four legs. That's really amazing and if an animal can overcome its misfortune then so can men.
Overall I had a wonderful day, even though I got so sleepy towards the end. Thanks to kind folks in SD who let us borrowed their place while they are away... for making sure everything's washed and fresh and accessible :) For trusting me with the room hahahaha... but then again when am I ever messy. I had sooo much fun, the next place would be catalina island and SD wild Animal Park. And I have to try camping at least once, visit other cities at least once... there's too much to do too little time--- I want to do EVERYTHING!
