Part of my horoscope for the day~

Quickie:
Your ability to achieve is limited only by your capacity to adapt to new situations.

Overview:
In addition to the fact that every word you utter today will be intense, emotional and evocative, there's something else you should know: You won't let any offense slide, no matter how slight. Be sure you're not over reacting. Friends are important.

Hehe, for one, I needed that. I need to be reminded that change isn't bad and change can only bring about more opportunities for something great and new. Only if I can learn to accept and to adapt to changes, the quicker the better b/c sitting around fighting the change isn't doing me any good. To resist change is to prevent myself from getting anywhere; it stumps growth and it limits the possibility of me achieving what it is that I am going for. I can't let myself or anyone else hold me back from doing great things, and the more I fight the change the less of a chance for me to succeed. If I plan on making my dreams come true, then I must stop focusing on the small things and instead I need to pay attention to the bigger picture. I can't lose sight of the bigger picture, if I need to remind myself of that on a daily basis, then I will. I will adapt and I will learn and expand and get what it is that I am going for, ultimately nothing else matters and nothing should stand in my way, I will do whatever it takes, w/ good judgment and honesty, to make my 5 years plan come true. My dreams will become a reality and no one can stop me. Mainly-- I will not stop myself, not going to hold back anymore. Not going to fight the change nor will I shy away from new ppl and things. If I can't say goodbye to part of myself that's no longer helpful then who will? Only I can say enough is enough-- no self pity n no more complaints about things that are really not that bad. I will make things better for myself, watch me.

Oh and I still gotta work on the "control your temper" part. The mood swings, etc. It could get out of hand if I'm not careful. I need to be careful.
heh. post period period, perhaps I need to go to Grand Opening. I know, silly thought really, I don't think I would ever ever go there. but I'm feeling it and I'm thinking it too much now. I'm like a dude.

and though I'm not expecting anything this weekend, I wouldn't mind getting tipsy and making out with someone, preferably a female and hot. I'm not saying I'm giving up on men yet but I'm looking forward to trying something new. I wonder what the 50% of the population is like and I wonder if I would join the minority. Or are they still a minority? Don't think so...

aye. sux. I can't focus on school work. Maybe that's b/c I've been sitting on my ass all morning but seriously... no make up could create the type of glow one gets when one's been exercising on a consistent basis. Speaking of which, I should really join the gym.

so lately some random thoughts been going through my mind. I know I have a lot of stuff to do and to take care of, but I've decided to take one thing at a time. I know that sounds silly b/c it's not like I've been juggling 5 projects at the same time but I've been busy, and really tired. I think right now I should just focus on moving in, really move in. I need to get everything in by end of this week, including Levi. I need to force myself to see that place as my home, where I go to at the end of the day and where I sleep, eat, shower, etc. I can't keep coming back and forth, I need to just get things settled. Then I gotta focus on finding a job. I know this is strange of me b/c school should technically come first. Maybe b/c I feel like school is more under my control where as a job isn't? I know technically school has replaced my job, but so far I am having a hard time thinking that way. I feel the need to work and to support myself, one way or another. Little $ or not, at least it is still my own income. But why is it so bad to depend on ppl? Why can't I just enjoy this opportunity to rest and just focus on what I quit my job for? I don't get it!

Yesterday we had a great lecture in class. First of all my design issue #2 (basically second project) was finally solved! The funny thing is I didn't really like it that much, but it solves the problem. I happened to use up all the materials I had left and luckily I don't have to buy anymore material for a while. Well actually I do but supposedly I should be able to find something from the 99cent store!!! Anyway and Michael actually answered a question I've been asking myself for a long time. He explained to us why there's no such major or masters degree for Interior Architecture, it was a complicated yet simple answer-- b/c it isn't theory based until recently. It wasn't until recently did they start to combine theory and practice into interior design. And it's interesting to see how much of that theoretical framework actually came from social studies, anthropology and women studies... I guess no matter how hard I try I'll always be sucked back into these categories. Maybe it's meant to be, for me, and this is the area i should always pursue. I don't mind, I find it interesting. More meaningful than finance I think. :D

Alright I do have to get started on my hw. I have lunch and dinner meeting on thursday with friend/ex boss down in irvine. Nice, two birds with one stone. I can't wait to meet up with them, they both have exciting stories to share!!!
