today was a very eventful day.

(in the lush OR), woke up at 10,10:30, got ready and went to uncle charlie's place for a fantastic july 4th meal. I have to say the cooking there was amazing today, and regretfully, I didn't eat enough. I ate too little, too slow... I guess my eating style won't do me good in this family, since everyone eats rather quickly and rather large portions, in one setting. for me, I love eating a bit, walk away, and come back and eat some more. The eat less more portion philosophy fits me well, but not so well when it is used in the Yang / Chang family.

afterwards we dropped the dad off, then off to the blues we go. okay, so the blues festival really isn't that great. but the location (waterfront) was nice. never been, quite a nice area. although the view is just okay and fairly industrial if we don't think of the water, but because of the water, thus water front, I can actually say "I can see myself living there". Or I would want to live at a place like that...where you see water when you get up, you are living in a very nice condominium (leed i bet), surrounded by little boutiques....how charming. The lifestyle and pace of life is definitely different than LA!

Anyway, so waterfront was nice, then home, ate dinner, and then FINALLY! Tackled the wedding website / invitation. I have to say I'm quite proud of my work. I know it isn't the best, and I know it could be better, however for me, for a none web designer I am quite happy. Rather proud actually. Even though the deadline was tonight, and we missed it... but I can still say with what we've done so far, it looks awesome. That took about.. hmmmmm.... HOURS!

ALright it's just way late, and tomorrow we are going to the zoo.HAHA, how funny. NIGHT!
