Today was such a random, weird day- surreal feeling to be back at old work eating with old boss and co workers, sitting in front of my old desk trying to figure out my old password (now I think about it, it's probably sleepysy, funny how I couldn't figure it out there!). Gossiping again in the NEW chair however, about what's happened in the past few months. As though no time has passed, no discontinuation and I'm still very much a part of that group and that ugly yellowish place. I was in the zone but felt very detached, looking in from the outside. Old familiarity, that annoying scent but "Oh miss it oh so much" at the same time. It's nice to be back, but even nicer to be leaving and feeling no obligation to the place, the ppl. I think that's how I feel towards a lot of things, things that I have put behind me... things I tried putting away neatly but unwilling to throw out completely. I think that's how I store a lot of my memories, they are in a safe, labeled "precious memory".

Then I went to purchase a ticket for "Being Julia" before going shopping. I needed to kill some time before my next dinner meeting with yet another ex-coworker that belonged to a even earlier time of my high tech days, the D group. I don't even know how I became friends with her but it just happened to naturally... maybe b/c she was the out going one who would always ask me to go hang out and we just had a lot of things in common... must be a Virgo thing. Call me pathetic but today we found out how similar we really are and how we are strangely attracted to fish (Pisces)... her bf is a Pisces and she shared many stories with me about him and I would know what exactly she's talking about before she even finishes her sentence. Anyway but before that, while shopping, I was approached by a psychic lady who provided some incredibly accurate insights about me, and my love life.

The things she said to me completely took me by surprise but I was nevertheless impressed and shocked by how good she was. I mean I sort of question her in some ways... lets just say I can see through her motive but I appreciate my little encounter with her b/c it got me thinking about the things that I've already been thinking about... well "Kut!" one might think, but what she said has helped me by giving me a clue as to what it is that I really need to do in order to solve this prob that I have. Not that I didn't know the answer before but I am just bothered by how transparent I must have been, to her, a stranger, for her to know that much about me and how I've been feeling lately-- its amazing and I want to say it is helpful. It did cost me $10.00 b/c u know, curiousity kills the cat, or my wallet for that matter. Dunno... I have a lot to think about, I need to work on many things and I think right now I know what is be my priority. I'm glad overall, with what's happened today b/c I'm determined to fix my own issue b/c since I am the one who generated the prob, only I can fix it to begin with.

so the movie was great, seeing old friends are fun, getting advice from stranger is cool, but nothing can beat the food I had tonight. So good, Viet Resaturant located on Bolsa, very nicely decorated, affordable, and filling. It was so good, I ate so much, but it's all worth it. What else can a girl ask for in a day right? Great friends, hearing hello from old customer, catching up on gossips... shopping at south coast, awesome. What a weird but wonderful day, unforgetable.
