A ride in the Jeep to Toshiba was the most exciting event of my work life today! I hate to admit it but damn that was fun! My hair all out of place, looking like a mad woman I climbed out of the Jeep and the security guard @ Toshiba saw me and just started laughing when I walked in. Yes very professional, that's the image I try to give everyone I meet via work, including the security guard. My rather white pants and baige shirt were a bit dirty from the seat belt, it was either being safely secured in the seat or carefully preserving my clothes... I chose safety. I've never had so much fun really, "traveling" anywhere for work, but today's short 4 miles drive (or total of 8 miles) was so worth it, I would do it every day!
Maybe that's the problem, maybe the key is to make the transportation part fun. Maybe I need to get myself a bike? A convertible? A truck? I mean what can I do to make sure I will enjoy going to work everyday? If I can have fun going to work, imagine the fun I can have coming back home! Hahahaha.. lame...
So Susan's gotta pack but shes got nothing to pack with. Better yet, she doesn't know what to bring.. she's stuck on how many pairs of shoes to bring and which pair... one for work? one for clubbing? one for walking up and down the streets? one for... is there just that one pair of shoes that meets all requirement? It used to be the boots but bringing socks might be an issue. And its too hot to be running around in boots. And it's about time to retire the boots and learn to walk, run, and jump in some of those high heels without twisting the ankle or falling off the stairs.... the most important part is, "can I dance in those heels". ai-ya! Dilemma... looking sexy and somewhat grown up or being able to dance? Hmmmm, a pair of sandles, and a pair of heels... higher ones or lower ones? Considering the amount of walking... tennis shoes maybe?
This is so stupid, its only for two weeks. The goal is to buy cheap cool graphic tees and everything else!!! Save room save room..... I am pathetic. Go to sleep stupid monkey...
smile because now you know, my every thought, motive, dream, and much more... all nine-hundred-thirteen lies, truth, and the unknown.

fever last night. a little bit of fever tonight. then stomachache, then throw up... I have food poisoning I think. I feel sick... I need to sleep n sleep n not go to work.
I probably jinx myself or I hope I didn't... I know i've said many times that I don't think I would care, if I do get rejected and be forced to stay in Taiwan. I can tell you now that I already regret ever having said that... I cannot imagine if this were my last week of stay here.. I'd be so sad and devastated. every part of me expects to come back regardless of what comes out of my mouth. I want to come back, I don't even dare to imagine the what ifs. I'd probably be shocked and cry first. then move on... or cry for few days then move on... or never move on and regret ever talking shit.. or recover from sadness and dedicate myself to recruiting U.S. citizens.... blah blah blah. I feel like throwing up again.
in conclusion-- please let me get my new passport and come back and celebrate working in the shit hole but living a great life again! :D ohhhh feeling sick.... :(
