I had so much fun today!!! Who would have thought a design GREEN expo could be this much fun! I got a patch of synlawn (eco friendly and low maintenenance faux grass), some fabric samples, some wall covering, some American Clay Earth Plaster sample (sooo beautiful, friendly alternative to cement, gypsum, arylics, and lime plaster... old school Tuscany feel) and cut sheets on solar panels, etc... I mean it was very educational and I think every designer should all pay 100% attention on this topic. I will always design with GREEN in mind, and I hope I'll get intelligent clients in the future that care about our environment. The worst would be ppl who have lots of money but with no taste and no care for the world whatsoever.
So I was a bit depressed today after I made my decision to drop my traveling plans and stay in school next quarter. Yes, summer quarter that comes right after this quarter, no break again whatsoever, NADA, just... school all the way through.... aye so sad. But in my heart it feels right. Despite the fact that I will be missing an important event, somehow that's okay with me. Maybe in my mind, to avoid it isn't such a bad idea... I guess I will be missing out on hanging out with the whole family but I have to set my priorities straight. I just cannot handle the thought of me still in school, being a dependent and holding my dad back from retirement at age 27, it's not how I see myself and I think when it comes down to it, I rather hang in there and finish everything I can w/in the amount of time I set for myself, than to go and do nothing for three months. Yes yes traveling is something but by taking three months off would mean adding another 6+ months of school just does not make sense to me. Gotta do what's right, and this feels right.
Alright... I do have internship tomorrow... aye.. even though I rather not go... I think I am ready for my next internship. I want to work for my SD 3's teacher's company. They do amazing amazing work that's eco-friendly, to me that's appealing and I think that's how things should be done. I just hope after this class they will see something in me, and then give me some kind of an opportunity later :)
:D
smile because now you know, my every thought, motive, dream, and much more... all nine-hundred-thirteen lies, truth, and the unknown.

Quickie:
Someone with an excessive personality may be setting you back now. Get distance.
(HA! can it be anymore accurate hahahaha!!)
Overview:
Someone has deeper feelings for you than they're letting on. You're not uninterested -- far from it. The trick is to give them a safe environment to let the love flow. Once you do, it'll be a rendezvous you won't forget.
(Okay this one better be accurate)
DAILY EXTENDED:
Play interpreter to the feuding forces around you today, and you'll enjoy many blessings -- including a nice influx of money. Details that you know like the back of your hand are like ancient Greek to someone else -- if you come to their aid and do some simple explaining, it will be a win-win situation. Gratitude gives people a long memory, and if you continue coming to people's aid today you will be reaping some huge rewards for a long time to come.
(Don't know what it means really but yes I've been playing some kind of an interpreter... not that I enjoyed it or anything, in fact I quit and now I'm on my "vacation"!!)
I am so happy today!!! Wait actually, let me rephrase that. I got woken up early and lost my dream within a second, annoyed with the situation, got up and pretty much started doing nothing until 12. I began making a mess again (and yes, the floor's still covered with all kinds of crap right now, I'm too tired to clean up) and didn't really finish my project until 15 min before class. I had a feeling that the model will probably get approved tonight but nevertheless, I had to keep my expectation low. Got to class, late of course, participated in the discussion meanwhile trying to piece my leafy rooftop back together in the proper location... finally it was my time to present. Thankfully, the teachers seemed impressed and guess what, I actually got a "good job, you got it" followed by a wink from my TA!! Oh my goodness, she's been pushing me and pushing me week after week and I cannot believe I finally got her approval!!! YAY. I mean that wink means A LOT TO ME. THANK YOU OOOOOO SO MUCH. And what's even better is that we got an extension! YAY, the project is due in two weeks instead of the following week... phewwww.
But yeah! Finally, DONE WITH THE STUPID ARCHITECTURE! It's so hard to deal with both the exterior and the interior, but it is also that much more satisfying when you know you've created something from the beginning to the end; the form it takes, the location, the environment, and the interiors-- basically the complete package! It's an awesome feeling. I know I may not be the best interior designer there is, but I have to say so far I'm really proud of my architectures... they do take on interesting shape and forms and NO ppl, I don't just do squares! Hahahaha... in fact this time around my project is nearly completely organic! Aye... I'm satisfied. I'm happy now. It has been 5 weeks... it's about time I get some peace and quietness (in my head that is).
