okay I don't want to be overtly ambitious but the truth is I want to be the one at the AIA 2 x 8 Swell Exhibit next year. I want to be the one exhibiting, not just someone walking by looking at everyone else's work going "wow, ohhhhhh" etc.

the teacher I have for thesis has a huge ego but rightfully so--- I guess according to him all the ones selected for the AIA exhibit from our school came out of his thesis class, which means all of us has a pretty good chance given that he's our instructor. I almost want to be aggressive and just go up to him and say " I don't care how much work I have to put in but I want to be the one exhibiting, what do I have to do to get there?"

I really want it. And you know what they say, if you want it bad enough it'll happen! And guess what, I want it, BAD. I want to be the one with my work on display among other great works from other schools, I want and need that solid recognition and I think I do have what it takes, I just haven't tapped into it yet. I want to believe that I have what it takes and I want to believe that with the right mentor I can reach my potential. I feel it in my heart that this isn't completely unrealistic and that I can come close to it... I feel the possibility--- I just have to make sure I do everything that I can to make it happen. Better time management, think outside the box, better execution and better presentation. It isn't impossible, in fact it is very possible and I want to make it happen. I cannot stress that enough...

It will be me, standing there, next year. It has to be me, please let it be me.......
