"Im no concept I am just a girl trying to find my peace of mind!" With the help of Lacuna Inc, you can erase troubling memory and start all over again. Are you sure the procedure is painless? It's no surgery, it's just brain damage. Are you sure you are ready for this? Or will you be shouting "can you hear me, I don't want this anymore I want to call it off!"

It's an appealing idea, to remove memories or a part of your life from the past in a timely, affective manner, through a night or several nights of removal process, you can wake up fresh and new, and ready to take on life without the excess baggage called unwanted memories. But if that's true, how do you pinpoint what's wanted and what's not? Does it work if you are allowed to keep only the happy memories you have with a person but throw away the bad ones? B/c essentially isn't the happy memories that you have and remember the ones causing the pain and suffering. You remember the good and you search for that same happiness, once you erase that from your life, isn't it like saying you've never lived the life? It becomes truly meaningless. Life is about living and remembering and learning, so doesn't all the good and bad comes in a package and it serves as a balance to your world? Good should always outweights the bad, there's always something good coming out of a situation no matter how shitty it looks at the time.

So lets assume you can erase everything and start out all over, it's like having a blank piece of paper. But if you the inidividual is the same person, with the same personality, wouldn't you end up writing the same or drawing the same pictures on that piece of paper? You would end up making the same choices, same mistakes; you would be attracted to the same things, deal with the same issues... fundamentally, you as a person has to change in order for your life to really change.

But I guess that's why fate always come into play. I find that fate is strongly correlated to you as a person, you're bound to do this or meet him/her, you are destined to take this route or go off track, or you are likely to acheieve this or that, all b/c of who you are. So wouldn't it be great if you can erase your memory and reconfigure your personality? Rewrite your SW and reboot the system? But how many of us would truly want that? To change who we are? Change is great, but how much of a change is acceptable? Or justifiable? Aren't we all mutable beings, as long as our external environment is changing, we will continue to change in order to adapt to the situation. But how much of that change is caused by external factor and how much of that change is related to internal decision making. And how many people can accept the changes that you go through and how many of them will recognize that sometimes, that change, is only temporary. Is there such a thing as a permanant change? Aren't we constantly changing anyway?

I've been told that I seem to have lost my moral, my values and that the person doesn't even know who I've become anymore. Have i lost myself in the process or am I just exploring how else to exist peacefully in my own skin. Wait then does that mean I would still "be in my skin?" How do I find my peace of mind? I am not at peace with myself so how do I expect others to be? I still can't say I am happy... but I know this is just a process... and I would want to remember every single aspect of it until I find myself again.
