Vegas: quarter/nickle slot machines, Tony, shopping, fortune reading, Madonna Concert... this Vegas trip is climbing the chart. We were there for exactly only 21 hrs, less than a full day, but every single moment experienced there was more than enough and filling for me. Nothing wild nothing crazy but everything's so fun and new and exciting, maybe that's b/c this time around I had Sallie there and us girls as usual find humor and excitement in every little thing we do. The best thing was the surprise b-day gift to Sallie (I'm so lucky to be her friend)from the boys which was two tickets for the Madonna concert that we've been talking about ever since we landed our eyes on the concert ad. IT was such a huge surprise b/c she got the call about the ticket at 8:30 and her and I had to run all the way from Aladdin back to MGM to see the concert.
Imagine two little asian girls (one not so little) just got done with their palms read, which indicated we both have many great people in our lives, the next thing you know we get a phone call telling us to hurry back for the concert since it starts at precisely-- 8:30. Two girls running against the traffic on the street screaming "hurry hurry" each carrying an Aldo bag... running in our flattest sandles... against a slow moving crowd... now that's a Kodak Moment.
I don't even know how we made it but I can tell you we ran as fast as we could, running out of breath, all sweaty and smelly but when we got there it was all worth it! Madonna's concert was seriously just the highlight of our night, b/c after the concert, after dinner, we decided to come back with our friend whom had an emergency that was work related.
But yeah this trip was awesome I am so glad I decided to go... if I didn't I would have missed out on Tony (called me up at 9 am Saturday to tell me he was driving to Vegas, to his surprise I told him I AM AT VEGAS!!) and I would have missed out on the Madonna concert. Not only that, I've learned the concept of playing Pai Gow... I am still fuzzy on how exactly it is done but I will get it next time. :)
