if it isn't black then it's white... no real creativity it seems. everything so wonderful and new is just a remix or new spin on something old and familiar, but isn't that why we like what we like, b/c of a sense of familiarity? isn't that essentially naoto fukasawa's design philosophy? To make references, to appeal to the subconscious? Chiho Aoshima --- it's fun, it's exciting, it's visually stimulating, it's South Park but better, and it's an old dog doing new tricks.

is it possible to come up with something outrageous that draws absolutely no reference to the past? is it possible to have a new beginning w/o traces of old memories? is it possible to create something fantastic that has truly never been done before? I think the answer is no... 2D to 3D to pushing the boundaries and back to 2D "super-flat"... it's a circle, and it's a square.

isn't it weird. once we get what we want, we doubt. or is it just me? is it fear? or is it regrets? is it just going along with the motion? what is it? Ohhh.. is that UPS? Please let it be UPS. Darn it, just my mexican neighbors.

Is it because I'm not ready? Is it anxiety? Or I simply hate losing my freedom and flexibility?

Also, what would I do if I were to be stuck at a hospital due to sickness for close to three months? what would I do if I were sick? What would ppl around me do? How many of them would truly stick around? How many of them would choose to ignore reality? And how many of them would choose to forget me all together? I wish to stay healthy, I wish for all my loved ones to stay happy and healthy. Because I wouldn't know how to deal with it either.
