k it has been a couple of hrs and so far, no second model. but it's all good since I've been doing more research and finding more inspiring ideas to work with. Anyway, and a friend just sent me this link Frank Gehry ... MUST SEE!!! Can't wait. That and the Da Vinci Code.

I think the truth is I've always wanted to be an architect more than an interior designer.. I like designing a complete building! But man, I guess timing wise it won't work.... :(

anyway, MUST WATCH THE MOVIE!! Go Frank Gehry! He's awesome.. genius!
today's horoscope : "There is almost nobody most folks who know would rather have in charge than you. Whether it's drawing up the architectural plans for a steel-and-glass skyscraper or arranging everything just so for a picnic, you handle projects (and people) with elegance, charm and ease. You make people feel good and bring out the best in them, and this gets the job done in a big way."

I sure hope that's the case cause right now I'm lost. I completed one model, one out of 3 minimum. I just can't seem to focus and I don't know what else to do! I am very pleased with my one and only "concept model" right now, but that doesn't mean the teachers will agree. Everytime I go in with something that I'm pleased with someone will knock me down a bit, not harsh not a whole lot but it's discouraging nevertheless. And frankly I haven't created anything that I'm 100% happy with. I can say I'm very proud of certain parts of the project but I've yet to create anything that I can stand behind proudly with 100% satisfaction. But I am going to assume that THAT day will come, and one day I'll be pleased with what I've done and will be able to show it to everyone else without hesitation. Right now I'm still somewhat insecure, somewhat doubtful of myself as a designer but lets hope I'll throw that big question mark out of the window soon.

Alright I suppose I should challenge myself right now and see if I can create my second and third model that surpass the first. I suppose that's what this exercise is all about ....

:)
this year's lesson-- 1) be more patient 2) be more sensitive

it's hard. but I'm pretty sure these are my two major lessons to learn this year, the signs are everywhere and it's up to me to look at them carefully. It's hard though, but I'm learning and I hope to get a A and pass the class and move on to my next lesson in life. I feel like I've been taking patience 101 forever and because of it, I've also failed in "anger mgmt" and other related topics. If anything having little or no patience sometimes is really my biggest downfall. For example I totally fell for the trap that my aunt set up this past winter in Taiwan, she took advantage of my short temper and seriously, if I were a bit patient and little slow to react, then things wouldn't have blown up the way it did. Gosh... I must remind myself of that every single time from now on. Not to mention the time my sis and I got into a fight in China... that's another good example of how having no patient and bad temper is really just a horrible combination.

Aye I realized lately that there's many situations where there's no right or wrong answers. just a matter of approach and intention, I guess that's what it is when it comes down to it. And I suppose I can learn to relax and not worry so much, and trust that ppl know what it is they are doing?

K. Then that's that.

shit still got two more models to build... godverdomme.
