Ralphs...

Isn't it ironic, for a person who hardly steps into a grocery store, to interview for a job that's all about grocery store planning is really a joke. The excitement is gone, the reality sets in. I should have said YES to "can you work four days a week 4 hrs a day". I guess immediately the idea of driving 1 hr total to compton each day for a 4 hr job then back, and have absolutely no time to do work and then no spare time on the weekend just doesn't seem appealing to me. Now if the location was in Santa Monica with a design firm looking like one, then the answer would have been a YES immediately. I guess according to my quick cost/benefit analysis I just don't see it working, despite how interesting the job does sound to me. There's room for growth, it is a huge Corporate America company, and sponsorship I'm assuming, wouldn't be an issue. HOWEVER, that's exactly why I feel hesitant about putting my best foot forward--- the location and the physical building itself turned me off immediately. It is way too corporate America, it is worse than Dlink's building before. The whole place looks crappy and in a disarray for a lack of better description and that may be due to the renovation, but I can't see myself working in an environment where everything is grayed out. I promised myself 2 years ago that I will not settle again, and I will look carefully before going into a long term commitment. I mean I don't really feel what I thought I would feel if the job is right. Yet... I know it would be a great opportunity... aye regardless, I wish they would give me an offer :D

k. now I'm really sleepy....
