IT came a day early. Or did IT? Yesterday I had such good luck, I was sooo close to being stuck in an elevator (that would have been another "dream come true" for me), but I didn't. The ppl that took the elevator after me got stuck in it for quite some time... poor ppl. Kim was pretty lucky too, if she had came out any earlier she would have been stuck in the elevator with them. See, timing is everything. And man was I lucky. Today however, not to lucky. First it took hrs to get my project photo copied (came out to be $52+ after a 15% discount) and then I had problem using the damn stapler. Then this dude who tried to help me with the stabler broke it, and we had to explain ourselves... anyway, by the time I was finally done with stabling my two very heavy sets of drawings, IT came. Yup, luckily, and I guess it's no luck it's more about anticipation and preparation, I had some protection on. Anyway besides the point... after that I went into my car and realized I left my portfolio back in Kinko... stepped back before I turned back in and that's when I stepped on the gum for the second time. THIS time around, the gum was quite mushy and sticky b/c it has been exposed in the sun for a couple hrs. It stuck on my left sandal as I dragged it across, then the extension of the gum got stuck to my right heel, and under my right foot. With much frustration I tried to step away but apparently it only made it worse. Finally I was able to semi clean myself up and when I finally got my portfolio, I somehow kicked my right foot into the portfolio causing tremendous amount of pain in the right toe. With more frustration and anger I stumped back into my car and realized holy shit I have cramps.
Then I hit the traffic. For a little bit only though... and the cramp went away. But to be on the safe side, I still popped an advil b/c I DO HAVE CLASS TONIGHT. Yes... how sad. Now I gotta go render one of my copies of drawings... n I just hope I don't fuck it up. And did I mention, white out is now my new best friend.
