She came and left and took a part of me with her. Even when I went out with my friends yesterday I was still thinking of her... of how I wish I'd known about these places earlier in the week so we could go together... maybe next time. Even though we didn't have our bedtime conversations (b/c she always fell asleep before I even get to bed) and that we didn't get to go to all the places we wanted... but we had fun. We always have fun, no matter where we go or what we do. Be it eating, walking down the streets and have cockroaches crawling up my leg... shopping and bargaining, going to the bathroom, playing the black and white "connect 5" (don't know the real name), riding on the train.... or forgetting my favorite dessert on the airplane... dunno everything's fun, when I'm with her.

I think the key is b/c we trust each other and b/c we don't ever judge one another. We can share everything that's on our minds and there's no judgment, ever! We can always sense what each other's feeling and what comes out of our mouth is always true and real, not a word of BS and no sugar coating anything. It is almost effortless but this relationship did start when we were just babies... we've probably shared diapers for all we know... and now we share far more than that diaper... we share our families, our issues, and most importantly our happiness.

In this past week, less than 7 days, we've gone wild shopping-- she introduced me to linen-- pants! I love them... they are so light and comfortable and I think I'm gonna start wearing a lot of new things... I need to bring out the artist in me (if it exists?). I convinced her to get more earrings (but I'm sure she's been wanting them) and I was almost successful at getting her to get a tattoo (again I'm sure she's been thinking of one) !! :D We also bought the same rings (engraved too), my dad bought us our bracelets which was actually one bracelet took apart to make two, and then we each bought our own necklace from the same vendor, similar style but different pendants. For some reason even though we're apart for most of the time but we've always managed to get very similar things, and especially when we are together we always make sure we get the same things. Ive noticed most people in the states hate to end up dressing the same as others or even look similar.. but I find it to be quite charming and fun b/c that only shows how you and someone else both have fabulous taste! It is really rare to find people that you can share everything with, let along sharing the same taste in almost every aspect.

So she's gone back to her life and I will soon go and start a new one, but I look forward to our next reunion b/c I'm already thinking of activities that we can do the next time we meet. :D So excited, can't wait.
