really hungry. having jetlag is indirectly making me fat. I eat breakfast, lunch, dinner at 5,6... and I'm hungry again at 9/10 ish. That's lunch time in Taiwan! Not only am I wide awake at times when I should be sleeping, I'm also starving. This sux... the good thing is I should be able to do work and work and work before class tomorrow... hmmmm bad idea. I should try to fix my jetlag before Thursday's work.
should have came back earlier, but no regrets. So glad I spent an extra two days in Taiwan because every second counts, every moment matters. If I didn't stay I wouldn't have been able to see Kenneth and his gf (or possible future wife, thus why I SHOULD and did meet her), wouldn't have had the chance to eat that delicious shabu shabu, and wouldn't have had the time to go to Shi-Ling night market with sis. Hmmm if I had an extra day there what would I have done? Definitely not work... hahaha
got an email from classmate yesterday saying her baby boy was born on Jan 8th! Wow... actually her husband sent that out for her to her friends, that was sweet. "Both the mom and baby are doing great!" he wrote--- GOOD! She's probably the sweetest person I know, very genium very kind, and I hope her baby boy will grow up to be as good of a person as she is. She's rather unique, unlike the Chinese ppl we generally meet. If everyone in China's like her then the world would be that much better. Or that Taiwan and China's relationship would be that much better... heck if more Taiwanese people are like her then China and Taiwan would be off to a great start. Unfortunately, we are all selfish, self-absorbed assholes... especially the president. I am glad, that Taiwan does believe in freedom of speech though (uh, to an extent), to allow people like me the freedom to talk a lot of shit. I know... I talk too much sh*t... I'll add that to my new year's resolution --- talk less shit. In fact, stop cussing. HAHAHAHA... right... one thing at a time one thing at a time...
I wonder how she feels... one moment you are still married living in a couple's world then next you are pregnant... and for 9 months you are carrying something and after that something, that baby becomes a permanent member of your family. It's a big deal... a HUGE DEAL! I mean how does one adjust one's mentality to go from single, married, to married with kids? Hmmmmmm.... and to think my dad is now old enough to want to be a grandpa.... ....................................................... uh.... how about he can go and baby sit someone else's kids for a couple of years first... again, one thing at a time.
Anyway... why's my mind so scattered lately? focus focus! I have to get my focus back... I know I've been saying that I want to relax and not care too much about stuff, but who am I kidding. There are some things that cannot be changed, plus right now isn't the time to slack off... almost done, almost there, just have to make sure I get there. I will adjust and try to manage my time... but I cannot slow down, not now. 110% .... I CAN DO IT! "Just DO IT"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmmm and I miss Taiwan. I miss the food there... to think just two nights ago I was surronded by family and now ... bleh, cant wait to see Levi.
