I think I've finally matured... and why do I say that? Because I have actually applied for a job, that neither sounds glamorous nor exciting. But guess what, I don't give a F! Ha! My monkey side says "who cares about names, status, swimming with whales" & my Virgo side says "though not really the job you want to brag about, but it sure is practical and idea for my lifestyle!"

So basically room&board, the furniture retail store that I enjoy shopping in has a part time sales / design associate position open @ santa ana, it is part time hour but it provides the pt employee with full time benefits (401K, dental, vision, health care, life insurance, 3 weeks paid vacation) and most importantly, 35% off of retail price plus 50% off of something else! I mean talk about perfection! The thing is, it would be a weekend shift (okay I guess not all that perfect, but close enough), but seriously, that means I get 4 days free to myself, free to bum around, and enjoy the benefits (oh not to mention, great benefit for pregnant ladies), and work on my freelance projects if anything. And I think it would be great for me to be on site and can always help out the clients directly, or ahem, "interior design" service anyone?

Maybe I am over simplifying it but I just think this would work! I mean if I get the job that is. Plus, the sales position isn't comission based, so no one would act think and smell like a sales (which i absolutely hate), and the idea of getting those chairs I've been wanting forever at 35% off, is just SEXY!

Anyway... I AM SO EXCITED! I hope I GET IT!!!

As long as it would be able to provide me an income of more than my EDD checks bi weekly, then it would be worth it!
