I have a week left before I complete my 28th year of being alive. What can I say, I had a great year! I knew I would have a great 28, I've always looked forward to 28, and now that it is almost over... I can't say I look forward to being any specific age anymore, but I do hope all the up coming years will be as great as this year.
Had so much fun really... Got married twice (yes, twice), got out of the back breaking job (literally), went to Taiwan often and fixed the lower back, upper left shoulder, and finally got to live a pain free life. Began growing as a person independent of a company title and realized that although it happened sooner than I'd like, but I am meant to do my own thing and not work for others. Making money is one thing, a thing that hasn't happened yet... but I enjoy being my own boss calling my own shots. Not saying I am perfect, but I rather deal with myself than with other idiots. I'm a smarter "idiot" than the other idiots haha. Best of all, I finally got into pottery, a dream of the past and of young age but whomever said there's an age limit to dreams? So now I am a ceramic artist, except for the summer vacation when all work was on hold hahaha... speaking of which tomorrow we begin class again. To be fair I missed last week's class because I forgot the date.... AND I am back in shape! YAY! FINALLY! And I will remain in shape, hopefully, from now on.
Only sad thing that's happened this year, is that Levi is getting older. I mean you figure I'm getting older so he must be too -- he's gotten really sick once, and then lately he has developed seizures. Poor cat... now he is relying on medication to control his mini episodes. But always look at the brighter side of things, he's still healthy otherwise, cute as ever, fat as ever (now I think that's a good thing since if he's loosing weight drastically, then that's really a bad sign), and his seizures are just mild ones that can be controlled. Ah, I love my cat, he needs to live forever and spend many more b-days with me.
Anyway, 2008, my 28th been very productive, eventful, and I've enjoyed it. I will enjoy this last week of being 28 and I will try my best to repeat these great feeling in the following year, and the following year, until I am no longer part of this world.
So last week, what should I do. Maybe I will make a medallion for myself --- forever 28. HAHA :) I will miss being 28. I think I will miss it, a lot..... 29 might be a year of major changes... I hope all good changes, including one that I am not mentally emotionally ready for it yet.... but we'll see. We'll see if I will make a decision to become ready..... aye, I already miss being 28
