it's 3:46 am here. I don't want to sleep or pack. but I will. I just set up another account with Taiwan's biggest job search site... I don't know what kind of a result am I hoping for or whether I would be satisfied or disappointed, but it's a step forward. The best thought I can think of right now is this past 2 weeks are worth it, in every way. I am lucky aren't I?
late night scooter rides are the best. scooter ride in the rain is liberating... late night snack on the roadside is comforting, late night Tien Mu is absolutely wonderful. A pair of Celine shoes = lots of working overtime for days... having your dad share half of the cost is priceless. Airplane tickets = too much to remember but all the things I've done, places I visited, people I met in these 2 weeks is priceless. What else can I ask for? THis is by far, the best B-day gift I've given myself... what a brilliant way to start my 23rd year of life. I wish I will continue to get this many great chances to travel, to go on vacation, to see my family, and to learn that life can be lived in many different ways... that there is not one but many other reasons to do something differently. Taiwan is great. I am loving it. I will be sad, I will possibly hate it... or I could be glad that I am, "back"? who knows... I am trying to stay positive here. *I can always exaggerate when I file my health statement when I fill in the health check form... hmmm... possible SARS symptons? Heheh.. yes,,, coughing, oh yes, fever? OH definitely, hard to breath? Sure sure!... these are all common cold symptons right? Hehehehehe... well.. not funny, I DON"T HAVE SARS. Just caught a cold.
