I was there, and now I'm here. Here and there, blah blah blah. Luckly I have my brother with me... it's nice traveling with family, it's really nice. He helps me with luggage, we can watch the movie and laugh outloud together, etc. It's nice. I think I'm at a point where I'm ready to live with family-- I'm mature enough now. And I'm ready to be tied down (meaning staying at home more...). Ha, basically, I think as we grow older we crave that family closeness and affection more. I really enjoyed my trip this time, that's probably why. I feel like there's always so much more to do in Taiwan, just miracles and interesting things happening all the time at all hrs. Maybe the ppl there are a bit too.... "Tai", but I'm sure they think I'm too "mai guao". Either way, I've lived here for 14 years, I think it's time I consider living elsewhere.
but yeah, lets see- on this trip I finally
- ate all the food I wanted to eat minus the sick days (so unfortunate)
- took two baths... ahhh I haven't had a chance to take a bath for so long it was nice
- met up with almost all of my friends, it was fun I enjoyed their company and conversations
- saw the intuitive consultant which in my personal opinion, was extremely helpful and constructive
- had the best week with Grace and Cindy, it was just so fun and silly everyday every hr for 8 days straight! It was a shame that she didn't get to go see the intuitive consultant
- got into my first fight with my uncle (grace's dad)... hehe.... yeah that wsn't pretty
- fixed my spine (oh i should really be careful of the way I sit, watch out for my posture now) and checked my eyes... too bad I didn't have time to see a dentist for my check up
- visited grandpa and little cousins... grandpa seemed much healthier this year, good good. memory's still good. Visited the Yen's family temple, awesome, learned some cool history about my family, apparently we are the descendents of someone very famous, all mentioned in history book.
- saw the movies I wanted to see "Perhaps, Love". Great Chinese musical, I recommend everyone to see it and I must buy it myself.
- saw sis's art show, her works gets chosen every year, pretty cool. Also met her bf... hahahahaha funny. Yup, it's about time, at age 21 she should take "love 101" according to her.
These are all random little things... but adding up = great memories. There's never enough time while I'm in Taiwan. I see that Taiwan's economy and politic has affected people but I also see how strong the Taiwanese ppl... we do adapt rather quickly, and I'm proud to be Taiwanese. I think I'm sick of being a second class citizen and not having the freedom that I should be having. Now I finally understand what my friends mean by having better opportunities, or at least equal opportunities. Yup... now I am seriously considering relocating... we'll see
